Money is being raised in many different ways, including Internet auctions. Hilary’s many friends at H M Customs & Excise in Colchester have also been very generous in arranging events to raise money.
At the end of 2002 we were very pleased to be able to make our first donation to a UK Charity, the Multiple Sclerosis Trust, to help them carry on their good work for people with MS. Further donations have followed throughout 2003.
On 13th April 2003 I took part in the Flora London Marathon - and after completing the 26..2 miles in just under 7 hours raised about £1,800 for the Multiple Sclerosis Trust. (As you can see from the following page I even managed a smile at the finish !! )
